Angie & Eric Visit London!

Angie is working on a project in Nottingham, a couple of hours north of London, and her husband Eric has been over to visit before but unfortunately our schedules have not overlapped. This past visit of Eric's, we were in town and got to spend the weekend hanging out with both of them!

Angie and Eric arrived Saturday morning and thanks to Angie's London Heathrow travel skills, they were through customs and at our flat in less than an hour. We quickly set off to Bermondsey with plans to grab some lunch from the Maltby street market. On our way to the Maltby market we stumbled across a pop-up market and spent some time browsing the stalls. 

After our very filling street food lunch, we walked along the south bank of the Thames before heading back to our flat for a bit of down time before dinner. 

For dinner we headed just south of our flat to Fitzrovia neighborhood for American style tapas. Our favorite dish of the evening was popcorn ice-cream with a caramel sauce. After dinner we went to our local, the Sir Richard Steele, for a night cap before heading home for the evening. 

The next afternoon, Angie and Eric were off to Nottingham. We loved getting to spend time with them!
